Bus Ministry

"Go out into the highways and hedges, and compel them to come in, that my house may be filled."

The bus ministries purpose is to reach others with the gospel by providing transportation for boys and girls (parents too) so that they may attend church where they can learn about the things of God through Sunday school and Worship. Grace Baptist Church provides FREE bus transportation to anyone who has no way to get to church. We will be happy to provide a ride for children and adults alike. The bus arrives in time for 9:45 am Sunday School and remains until the end of the morning preaching service around 12:15pm. We also provide rides for Wednesday evening Awana Clubs from 7:00 to 8:15 pm. If you are in need of a ride, please call the church at (706) 769-6608.
Our Bus Ministry is a valuable outreach of our church, designed to reach the total family. Through Worship, Sunday School, picnics, outings and trips children and adults learn how they can have a personal relationship with Jesus, then grow spiritually by life changing Bible Study and Christian fellowship with other believers.
Drivers, captains, captain assistants and helpers are always needed in this ministry. We appreciate the hard work of all those who work in bus ministry! If you would like more information or are interested in volunteering on the bus ministry team please call the church office.
Here's what we will do:
1. Our courteous bus captain will pick your child up at the door.
2. When we arrive at the church we take your child from the bus to his or her class.
3. In the classroom teachers teach your child about Jesus Christ and applies the Word of God to their lives, complete with stories, songs and crafts.
4. After Sunday School and Church, your child will be taken back to the bus for the ride home.
5. Finally, when the bus arrives to your home, we make sure that your child is safely delivered to your door.
